The Canada-U.S. Fulbright Program operates on the principle of reciprocal exchange and provides the opportunity for outstanding students and scholars from Canada and the United States to embark on a residential academic exchange in the other country. By allowing our generation’s best and brightest to experience a different culture and to get exposed to new ideas, the program aims to bring a little more knowledge, reason and compassion into world affairs, thereby increasing the chance that nations will learn to live in peace and friendship.
