This Workshop resulted in greater cohesion and clarity around a shared community vision, a preferred future, as well as a number of highly tractable ideas and suggestions for initiatives in moving the community towards improved coordination. It is evident that the Canadian OST community is committed to moving forward together, in a more coordinated and strategic way. Building on this momentum, DFO committed to continuing to facilitate OST dialogue with a view to bringing greater precision to the establishment of the Alliance and its work plan.
