TerraCanada Science and Innovation

The TerraCanada hub will energize collaboration by establishing a multi-partner network with facilities in the National Capital Area and in five other regions across the country. This network will be anchored by modern infrastructure that will attract and retain global talent and promote opportunities for diverse researchers and students, building the next generation of federal science leadership.

Science priorities:

  • Develop the economic potential of Canada’s land and resources in a sustainable manner
  • Support Canada’s transformation to a low-carbon economy
  • Generate and share knowledge to mitigate the impacts of natural and human-made hazards on the safety and health of Canadians
